It’s time for another Centra Mornings lecture. Centra Mornings is a shared-knowledge-initiative, created to bring the e-commerce community in Stockholm together. As part of this new event series, we welcome inspirational people to our office on Långholmen to give a presentation on topics related to our industry. Our second edition takes place on November 23rd and we are very happy to host Johan Andrén from Google. He'll dive into topics related to Google, retail and international growth. There will also be breakfast for everyone to keep our morning minds sharp and fired up. Win-win.
The new Centra newsletter combines news and product updates.
From now on, we'll send out just one email bi-weekly, focused on both company news and product updates (formally known as "Release Notes"). As usual, the newsletter will be sent out after each sprint - every other Wednesday. Product updates have been stripped down and will focus on the headline features that we think add the most value to our clients. However, we will still link to the full list of updates, complete with technical details if you're feeling like you want to do a deep dive. As always, we encourage you to test new features and give us your valuable feedback.

Harder, better, faster, stronger. Black Friday tune up.
Black Friday is less than two weeks away and we’re tuning up our engine to get ready for November 23rd. In our previous sprint, we updated our checkout API response time to make checkouts run twice as fast. For this sprint, we’ve focused on generally improving APIs to make sure everything runs fast and smooth. Part of this is making sure our API’s read customer information better which will increase general stability.
Centra
Improved communication between Centra and Ingrid. The free shipping bug is no more.
Centra and Ingrid have always been in good talks, but now they are communicating even better. This week's bug fix includes improvements to the free shipping voucher bug which was reported last month. So as Ingrid will still offer unlimited shipping options for your customers; the free shipping vouchers will, from now on, only be valid when the correct shipping provider is selected.
